Women in Logistics: Celebrating International Women’s Day
It might sound cliché, but it is true, every day is International Women’s Day here at CK Fulfilment. Before we get into this blog we’d like to take a moment to say that we have some fantastic men and women in our team and client base, all of whom we appreciate and love to bits. However, today we are shining the spotlight on the women.
If you have read our story then you will know that we are female founded here at CK Fulfilment, but you may not know that we are also powered by some incredible women at our core. Kath, our Value Added Services (VAS) Manager, alongside Jay, Laura, and Michaela from the VAS department, showcase daily the blend of skill, forward thinking, and organisation required to succeed in the kitting and subscription element of the business; They never miss a beat! In our customer services department Pati and Ciara are the sounding board of CK ensuring our clients and their customers always feel heard and valued. In the marketing dept, Emmie and Maisie bring our story and values to life, connecting us with communities and businesses across the globe. Last but not least, our dedicated CEO, Rebecca, pushing our team and business forward each day, surpassing the obstacles and challenges with true graciousness.
Our female inspiration doesn’t end there. We are lucky enough to partner with some of the most remarkable female founders and female led businesses. From Louise of The Little Bumble Co to Leah of Narvvi, Natasha of NOA, Anna of Antipodes, Emma of Bunda Swimwear, Natalie and Natalie of NicNac, Pippa of Dimples, Charlotte of Chapter Organics, Daniella of Mama Shack, Grace of Miss Kick, to Kate and Louise of Craft & Crumb, amongst many other incredible women! Each of these female founders brings a resilience and wealth of knowledge to their niche. These partnerships go beyond business transactions; they are a mutual commitment to support and uplift women in the entrepreneurial space.
